2026 Oak Hill Cemetery Tours

TICKETS LIVE ON EVENTBRITE AS OF AUG 1, 2026

Join Newnan-Coweta History Center to stroll at dusk through Newnan’s Historic Oak Hill Cemetery on a guided walk of select gravesites. Storytellers and guides captivate guests with lively, engaging tales while vendors, musicians, and artists also contribute to this special event that celebrates living, history and the arts.

The 2026 Oak Hill Cemetery Tour is being planned for Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24 with tour times starting at 5:00 p.m. New tours head out every 20 minutes until the last scheduled tour at 8:20 p.m. Tour Oak Hill Cemetery at dusk with skilled guides in character who take you through to visit some of those who’ve come before us. Also, take in the museum tour featuring performers and festive decor. Enjoy live entertainment and onsite FOOD TRUCK (not included in ticket price) in the back garden of the museum.

Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes! Questions? Call the museum at 770-251-0207. TICKETS will remain on sale until the day of the event or until the event sales out. $45 Adults, $25 Children under 12, $120 VIP ticket that also includes the Ghosts & Ghouls Ball on Friday 10/30, 7 p.m. Ant this year the Ultimate VIP Pkg at $230 that includes tickets to both events, VIP seating, $15 Food Truck Voucher, Drink Ticket and Commerative Cup, Museum Exhbit and Cemetery Tour, 2027 NCHC Family Membership with Benefits, and swag bag!! This is our premiere fundrasier of the year — please consider the Ultimate VIP Package, but we THANK YOU for support of any ticket purchase!

Check in for the event at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum, 74 Jackson St., Newnan. Ample parking behind 27 Clark St. or University of West Ga. Tours not recommended for children under 6. Tickets for children may be purchased and used to accompany an adult for any tour time.

NOTE: There are two tour dates. Fri. 10/23 and Sat. 10/24. Please make sure you are purchasing a ticket for your desired date and time!

This is a rain or shine event. In case of severe inclement weather, an alternate date will be announced.

Park off of Clark Street in the lot behind the museum. Check-in is near the white gazebo.

EXCITING NEWS! NCHC is the recipient of a Georgia Humanities grant for recording Coweta County oral histories. We are starting with citizens ages 55 and up who are willing to schedule a time to come record a story or two with us. Stories are uploaded into a vintage telephone mounted in an antique booth from the original Newnan Hospital. Museum patrons will be able to enter the phone booth and select stories to be heard over the phone! You can find the current Dial-A-Memory phone at the Newnan Carnegie Library at 1 LaGrange Street.
